Scott is co-creator of WhenHub, which is some sort of app. Scott is all about persuasion. He talks about it and President Trump a lot on Periscope, his blog, and sometimes on his Youtube channel. Scott always seems to be working, but he's also using the various apps that I just mentioned almost always, it seems. Considering he feeds off his interactions for his creative ventures, I find today's strip ironic.

Wally is shamelessly lazy, and he doesn't need the privacy of a cubicle to hide it.

Scott is trying to milk something that I fail to see why. "Workplace Culture" is like boilerplate bs that a mission statement implies.

Scott must have had a bad day... this week has been rather meh with the meandering workplace culture crud. Of course, today's is a twist of yesterday's strip. Maybe tomorrow will be worth the bs.

Culture of lying to avoid conflict is a business culture I know oh too well.

Following up yesterday's interview relating to business culture, today we see PHB tauting their culture as its strength. What is this strength? Fierce competitive culture... that is modestly hidden.
Meh.
Did I already mention I got "promoted" to team lead last week? Yesterday, my boss's "right hand" essentially asked me why I worried about getting things done well. I had to go on the road during the unload and nothing really seemed accomplished during the half-hour plus I was gone. I probably mentioned I almost hate my team.
I rather be on the bench of a championship team than the captain of a last place team. I have no sympathy for Milton's Satan. I just need to find a way to make my team to embrace a team culture. They lack the individual element of having distinction beyond being my whiny team member, my ditsy team member, and my slow minded member. Sure we get the job done when all is said and done, but there's so much room to improve.

Dilbert interviewing a prospect seems odd to me. Is he HR? Is he management?
Perhaps as a project manager he gets to screen people, but how does he have any say when all the people they hire are either lazy or insane? May be I'm viewing Dilbert wrong. He's not a sane voice in an inane cubicle hell if he's part of the process luring newbies into it.

I have a manager that micromanages and blames everyone else when his micromanaging fails. CEO tooting his own horn about the next version being great, gives buyers reason to wait until its release rather than settle for current meh. Zero sales means someone has to go, and CEO doesn't want to fire his ignorant self.
I've been fired/laid-off a few times. The last couple times, I was let go for reasons beyond my control by weak bosses who were probably rightfully fired or demoted within a month of my termination. Other boss probably was fired too, but not sure. She left a short time after firing me though, and my replacement replaced her.

Easter Sunday and we find Dilbert out to eat with Dogbert... fries lack salt and minor twist of the 10 minute myth plays out in that waiters never return in timely manners due to their being waiters that get distracted. Scott throws in some health science stuff because he's a nut about how food relates to mood.
Not sure I understand why Dogbert and Dilbert are eating together, but I never felt the need to look up their dynamic. Not sure if I find it funny, but then I'm predisposed to not be humored by food jokes.

It's hard to understand the dynamic of some relationships as being viable. Alice is not a likely partner.

Scott stopped reading his email daily. He stole the idea off of someone probably smarter than himself. He realized that if he stopped the vicious cycle, he'd have more free time.that he found bogging him down would end.
When you are rich you don't need to read email, I guess.
Who sends email anyways? Sorry, I don't work in an office setting anymore, so...

Alice likes to whine, doesn't she? May be I'm wrong, but PHB has a good point. Regardless, Alice spending her time fixing a problem no one told him existed sounds like something Wally would say. Doesn't Alice like to grandstand and get credit whenever possible? If the problem truly existed, she would have mentioned it, unless it was her fault in the first place.
